Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How Long Does Handcrafted Soap Last:
Unlike commercial soap, handcrafted soap does not contain any preservatives, and thus may expire sooner.

Handcrafted soap generally last one year, but proper storage may extend the life.  Avoid leaving soap in water puddles.  Using a soap dish will allow excess water to drain and to keep soap dry and firm.

Keep soap away from steam or heat sources and also considering using older sap before newer ones.

How Should You Store Multiple Bars of Handcrafted Soap?
Wrapping each bar in breathable materials, like wax paper may extend the soap and reduce the risk of sticking or melting.

Nut Allergies:

If you have a tree-nut allergy, watch out for coconut oil, sweet almond oil, hazelnut oil, and macadamia nut oil.
